Guided by God's Wisdom

Psalm 32:8

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you."

Dear Lord, grant me insight into today's meditation on being guided by Your wisdom. In Jesus' name,  Amen.


Background  

Psalm 32 is a psalm of David, expressing gratitude for the forgiveness of sin and the blessings of God's guidance. In verse 8, David acknowledges God's promise to instruct and counsel His people, leading them in the right path. This verse highlights the intimate relationship between God and His children, where He provides divine guidance and direction.


Be Encouraged

God's promise to instruct and teach us in the way we should go is a source of great comfort and assurance. Just as a loving parent guides and teaches their child, God, our Heavenly Father, desires to lead us along the paths of righteousness. His guidance is not arbitrary but tailored to our individual needs, with His watchful eye upon us at all times.


Proverbs 3:6 complements this truth, stating, _"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."_ As we submit to God's guidance and acknowledge His wisdom in our lives, He promises to direct our steps and lead us on the right path. Trusting in His wisdom, we can navigate life's challenges with confidence and assurance.


If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, I invite you to do so today. Repent from your sins, confess your faith in Christ as the Son of the Living God, and be baptised by immersion. By so doing, God will cleanse you of all sins you have ever committed since your youth. Allow God to guide you in every aspect of your life, trusting in His wisdom and provision. Please share this message with your loved ones, inviting them to experience the guidance and wisdom of God as well.

Thank You, Lord, for Your promise to guide me and teach me in the way I should go. Help me to trust in Your wisdom and follow Your leading each day. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
