Worthy Is the Lord of All Honour

Theme: "The Glory of God’s Majesty

Today's Title: "Worthy Is the Lord of All Honour"

Revelation 4:11
"Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created."

Starting Prayer
Dear Lord, as I embark on this day's meditation, I humbly seek Your guidance and insight into the significance of Your glory and majesty. Grant me understanding and wisdom to comprehend the depth of Your worthiness to receive all honor. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Background
Revelation 4 provides a glimpse into the heavenly throne room where John witnesses a vision of God seated on His throne, surrounded by heavenly beings offering ceaseless worship. Verse 11 specifically declares the worthiness of God to receive glory, honor, and power due to His role as the Creator of all things. This verse underscores the sovereignty and majesty of God as the ultimate source of all existence.
Be Encouraged
Reflecting on the worthiness of God to receive honor and glory should inspire us to live lives that honour Him in all we do. Just as the heavenly beings continuously offer worship to God, we are called to acknowledge His greatness and sovereignty in every aspect of our lives. When we recognize God's worthiness, it transforms our perspective, leading us to surrender our will to His and to align our actions with His divine purpose.
As we navigate through the challenges and triumphs of each day, let us remember that our ultimate purpose is to bring honor and glory to God. Whether through our work, relationships, or service to others, may everything we do be a reflection of God's majesty and grace. By living in accordance with His will, we fulfill our purpose and contribute to the proclamation of His glory to the world.
Supporting Verses
- Psalm 96:8 (ESV) - "Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!"
- Romans 11:36 - "For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen."
Invitation
I invite you to join me in acknowledging the worthiness of God to receive all honor and glory. Let us surrender our lives to Him completely, allowing His majesty to shine through us in every aspect of our existence. If you have not yet obeyed the gospel of Christ, I urge you to recognize God's sovereignty and submit to His will through faith (Hebrews 11:6), repentance (Luke 13:3), public confession of faith (Romans 10:9-10), baptism for forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38) and be added to the saved (Acts 2:41, 47). Embrace His love and grace, and experience the joy of living a life that honours and glorifies Him. Share this message of hope and redemption with others, inviting them to join us in magnifying the Lord of all honour.
Concluding Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You for revealing Your worthiness to receive all honor and glory. May Your majesty be exalted in my life today and always, as I seek to honor You in all I do. Guide me by Your Spirit to walk in obedience to Your will, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

May God bless your day.
