A Saviour for Sinners

The Gift of God’s Son

A Saviour for Sinners

1 Timothy 1:15
"The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost."

Starting Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, as I engage in Your Word today, let the truth of Your redemptive plan through Your Son resonate in my heart. May I recognize the depth of Your love and grace in providing a Savior for sinners. Amen.

Background
1 Timothy 1 unveils the essence of Christ's mission—to save sinners. The verse 1 Timothy 1:15, spoken by the Apostle Paul, echoes the profound truth that Jesus came into the world not for the righteous but to extend salvation to those in need of redemption.

Be Encouraged
Embrace the assurance that Christ Jesus is the Savior of sinners. Romans 5:6-8 reinforces this message:
"For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Additionally, consider Isaiah 53:6:
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all."

Today, I invite you to recognize the Saviour sent for sinners, acknowledging your need for His redemptive work. Wholly give your life to Christ, and share this message of hope and salvation with others.

Concluding Prayer
Gracious Father, I am humbled by the reality that Christ Jesus came to save sinners, of whom I am chief. Thank You for extending Your mercy and grace to me. As I begin this day, I surrender myself completely to the Savior. In Jesus' name, I express my heartfelt gratitude. Amen.

Warm regards,
Theodore J. Quist
